Our objective is to help adolescent youth who are making destructive choices realize their worth and potential, creating in them a sincere desire to achieve a higher purpose in life. We believe each youth has a bright future ahead of them and it is our mission to help them make the necessary and effective changes in their lives that will facilitate long-term success. Often, low self-esteem, academic under-achievement, substance abuse, behavior problems, and family conflict, contribute to self-destructive behavior. However, we believe the youth at White Rock Academy will have "Life Changing Experiences, New Perspectives" that set the stage for a successful future.

Our unique setting in the rural heartland of America provides an excellent therapeutic atmosphere for growth and change. Students at White Rock Academy participate in activities that combine the warmth and growth of service with the benefits of working with and caring for various animals. We believe service to others is essential to building self-esteem in our youth, and service activities combined with the unconditional love of animals creates an atmosphere that increases self-worth and integrity.

Thanks a million! Caleb arrived on time and is home! It looks like you all fed him well and he really bragged about the 3 squares a day and how wonderfull his experience was. I think that he got a lot out of the whole program and I just wanted to pass a note to you to let you know that we are so greatfull! Only time will tell and I know that his Mom and I still have a lot of work to do.

Caleb said that traveling to Denver with your family was very good and he really likes them! Stay in touch or send him a note through my email when you have a chance! I know that he would like it.
